Bought two of these (one black, one white) with the larger, 16Ah, batteries. For middle-aged couple, first venture into electric-assistance bikes. Selection: based on good reviews, reasonable price, size when folded (to fit in our car). Purchase process: more difficult than I expected, because of restrictions Biwbik choose to apply to payment method. But after emailing the company, I promptly received a personal phone-call explaining what was necessary. My trouble was due to being in UK while ordering but wanting delivery to second home in France. Couldn't pay with French bank card (not in France at time of order); couldn't pay with UK bank card (outside region they are selling to). Eventually solved by getting a family member in Germany to pay with a German card. If they get their money, why do they care about the way it comes? Delivery: came promptly by courrier to France. One box damaged, but nothing missing from inside. Assembly: main difficulty was with handle-bar column, which you have to insert. The online video made it look simple, but in fact, the rotation was crucial, and there was no pointer or other mark to indicate correct orientation. Solution: clamp on the handle bar in the only orientation that grips securely. Then fold down the column and twist until the handle bar is at right-angles to the wheel; tighten the column in this position. Why cannot this part come ready-assembled? Use: The electric assistance takes some getting used to. As you begin to pedal, it cuts in with quite a spurt of power, which is disconcerting at first. When you stop pedalling, it cuts out again, feeling like it is actually applying braking. I will get accustomed to it eventually, but I think a more sophisticated electronic control of the power could make it better. Overall: happy with the bikes. At this price-point, the level of sophistication is probably pretty good, and the build quality seems good.

Problème restant encore à résoudre / sur le display en roulant les barres de charge bougent sans arrêt - Je dois faire une video à Biwbik prochainement.

Etant donné que nous étions très satisfaits de notre premier achat, nous avons commandé un second vélo pliable. Malheureusement, nous avons eu un problème de batterie avec celui-ci. Nous avons donc pu apprécier le service après vente car Monsieur José D, qui était notre interlocuteur (très aimable!), a toujours répondu présent lors de nos appels. Nous remercions vivement biwbik pour son geste commercial qui nous a permis de reprendre nos randonnées en toute quiétude.

Nous avons achetés deux vélos pliants, un Book 300 et un Book sport, nous sommes très contents de nos achats. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Excellent contact même après la vente, le personnel de Biwbik est à l'écoute et très réactif. Nous recommandons cette marque, vous pouvez acheter l'esprit tranquille.
